Have you ever used herbs but not had results? This can occur if the wrong herb is chosen for your individual needs.
A disease is not the person but an expression of imbalance in that person.
This means that we don’t treat diseases, but the person who has the disease.
To do this, we look at how a particular disease expresses itself within each unique individual.
When we experience illness, we are used to defining our condition in terms of its symptoms. For example, we define a cold as a stuffy nose, sneezing and head congestion; a bladder infection as frequent and burning urination with possible blood; bronchitis as an inflamed throat with mucus, congestion, and cough.
Most people’s treatment approach is to immediately eliminate such symptoms with medications, such as decongestants, diuretics or antibiotics, in order to “get rid of’ the illness.”
In other words, modern medicine focuses on just treating symptoms.
The same is true of contemporary Western herbalism.
While this may sometimes work, it can also cause a prolonged healing process, weakening of the body and/or suppression of the true cause of the illness.
This is because not every cold, bladder infection or bronchitis is the same. And not every person’s body they occur in is the same.
If you don’t get results from herbs and so think they don’t work, you are probably using the wrong herbs for you and your condition.
Herbalist Lesley Tierra
You are a unique person with your own individual needs.
A cold you have can be totally different from a friend’s cold because both of you are different. Therefore, one overall treatment approach does not heal each type of cold, bladder infection or bronchial inflammation.
Rather, each illness has a different cause that varies according to each person’s body. That is, there’s an underlying energetic imbalance unique to every individual that needs to be treated for true healing to occur.
In our courses, we teach how to recognize the energy of your body and the energy of your illness so that you can piece together a successful treatment of the right herbs to create total balance and effective healing!
We offer four levels of study to best fit your needs:
Most herb courses teach allopathic herbalism — that is, “this herb is good for that disease” — such as using mint for colds, cranberry for bladder infections, or echinacea for bronchitis.
This is a hit or miss approach where you may get results but you just as well might not.
Such courses don’t teach you HOW to use herbs for each individual’s unique needs.
You may gain knowledge about some herbs but after you are done with the course, you won’t know how to actually use them.
Maybe this is your story?
Instead, you want a course that will teach you not only about the herbs themselves but still how to most efficiently and effectively use them for each individual’s unique needs.
The East West Herb Courses integrate time-tested traditional assessment methods that lead you to the right herb or herbal formula to work for each person.
Traditional herbal diagnosis is as important for herbal healing as knowing the common properties of herbs.
Most of us have our origins on different continents, enjoy food from many parts of the world, or live in locales with a restricted variety herbs that are only useful for a limited number of diseases.
Why in the face of disease should we ever limit ourselves to only one set of herbs or system of herbal healing?
The East West School Herb Courses teach Planetary Herbology so you knowhow to use any herb no matter where it grows or where you live/travel.
Since its founding in 1980, the East West School of Planetary Herbology has graduated the largest number of leaders in the herbal industry. It has more than 10,000 students throughout the world in over 40 countries.
Read what these students have to say about East West’s teachings:
“I took another herb course and learned about some herbs but didn’t really know how to use them when faced with health concerns. After, I took the East West Herb Course and finally gained knowledge in the effective application of herbs with real results.” Kathy W.
“I bought another herb course only to discover it didn’t deliver as advertised. I went with East West instead and it exceeded my expectations. Highest recommend!” Bill B.
