Super Mario Sunshine Coming to Switch Online Aug. 13

Nintendo has announced that Super Mario Sunshine will arrive on Switch Online as part of the GameCube Classics lineup starting August 13. The GameCube action platformer originally launched in 2002 and was most recently available on Switch through the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection, but it has now been removed from the eShop.

In the game, Mario and his friends travel to the tropical island of Delfino—only for Mario to be wrongly accused of covering the island in graffiti. From there, he sets out to clean up Delfino, prove his innocence, and uncover who is actually responsible.

To play Super Mario Sunshine via Switch Online GameCube Classics, players will need an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.
