Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced “Ani drzazgi” Sends Edward to the Observatory
The final narrative task in Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced—“Ani drzazgi”—puts Edward back at the Observatory to stop the Grand Master Templar. The objective is to reach the Observatory, fight through Torre’s people, disable three devices that hold Laureano Torres behind a barrier, then perform an aerial assassination to finish both the mission and the wider story arc.
Announcement: “Ani drzazgi” sends Edward to the Observatory
Edward travels to the Observatory again with the goal of preventing the Grand Master Templar. The mission’s centerpiece is taking out Laureano Torres, who is concealed behind a barrier sustained by three separate devices.
What changed (practical steps for this run)
- The route to the Observatory largely mirrors the previous Long Bay Observatory visit, but the area is simpler because Torre’s soldiers have already eliminated the wild animals you previously had to avoid.
- A new hazard appears inside: “walls of golden light” activate every few seconds and instantly kill anyone who touches them.
- The fight is staged across moving platforms and a space with multiple light walls that periodically activate.
- A stated issue can occur: destroying a device during a movement animation may cause Edward to get stuck, forcing a reload from the previous save.
Platform scope: the walkthrough-style guidance for the mission
This is mission-specific content for Black Flag Resynced—the walkthrough sections cover how to reach the Observatory, how to reach the observation room, and how to defeat Laureano Torres inside the final sequence.
What comes next: route, observation room hazards, and the three-device takeout
Getting to the Observatory: After reaching the beach where Edward previously parted with Adewale, the location is now crowded with Spanish soldiers. Clear out a pair ahead, then move through the bushes toward a tunnel to eliminate a second group. Inside the cave, kill the soldiers positioned in front and then deal with a nearby patrol (you can also put him to sleep with a sleeping-arrow shot). At a narrow wooden walkway, use a rope arrow on the soldier across the gap to pull him down into the chasm. Once out of the grotto, continue along the tree-and-branch path to reach the open Observatory and enter.
Reaching the observation room: Progressing onward introduces a terrain obstacle: walls of golden light that trigger every few seconds and kill instantly on contact. Wait for the wall in front to go inactive, then cross during its safe window. In the next room, two soldiers are positioned around moving platforms; you can kill the injured soldier or spare him with no consequences. For climbing, wait until the left wall approaches, jump onto it, and climb upward along its edge until you reach the protruding platform at the top. Then jump from the right edge platform to a stone beam, leap between stone beams, and arrive at the observation room.
Fight setup inside the observation room: The observation room includes a combat sequence against remaining members of Torre’s group. Three walls of light periodically activate on the platform. Stay clear of them, though you can sometimes push enemies into the active hazards for advantage.
How to kill Laureano Torres (and the mission-ending technique): The mission warns of an irritation bug: if you destroy a device while Edward is still in a movement animation, he may become stuck and require reloading the prior save. To prevent it, stand still for a second or two before destroying each device so Edward returns to his default standing animation first.
Torres is protected by a barrier held up by three devices. Jump down onto a column near the first device and destroy it. Then leap across newly revealed columns toward the nearby light-wall area. The correct climbing route is marked (in the walkthrough’s visuals), and you should only pass through the light walls when they have just become inactive. At the path’s end, jump to the nearby platform, climb onto it, and destroy the second device. Next, jump across the reappearing columns and move around a stone block hanging from grooves on its surface; this leads to a stone bridge where the last device sits—destroy it as well.
After the final device is removed, the barrier disappears. The mission then ends by approaching the bridge edge and performing a hidden aerial assassination on Torres; killing him completes the “Ani drzazgi” task and ends the entire Black Flag Resynced story thread.
