There’s also uncertainty around whether Gardner will appear in Clayface. If he does not, that could mark the first project where this Green Lantern linkage doesn’t serve as the connecting thread at all.

Man of Tomorrow is scheduled for release on 9 July 2027. That means audiences will have a long runway to compare what they see in Lanterns (once Gardner appears) with what Fillion brings to the big-screen sequel—especially after DC Studios’ “small change” to his hairstyle.
