What’s coming day one

The Planet Crafter arrives on July 21 for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, joining Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. The subscription list for July 22 includes Shift at Midnight, an online co-op detective horror game where teams investigate customers across randomly generated shifts—some routine, others disguised monsters that aim to kill players. Surviving each shift relies on teamwork and traps.

On July 23, Hell is Us comes to Game Pass. The action-RPG is set in a nation shattered by civil war, tasking players with mastering melee combat while exploring the anomalies of Hadea, sharpening observation skills, and solving a dark mystery at the game’s core. Later in the month, Halo: Campaign Evolved becomes the headline addition on July 28.

The month’s centerpiece: Halo’s campaign remake

Halo: Campaign Evolved launches day one on July 28 for Cloud, console, handheld, and PC. The game is described as a complete remake of Halo from 2001, timed for the franchise’s 25th anniversary. The remake features upgraded visuals, modernized controls, new co-op missions, and an expanded arsenal of weapons for fighting the Covenant.

More day-one titles follow: Mistfall Hunters launches July 30 as a dark fantasy extraction ARPG, and Corsair Cove arrives July 31 on PC, letting players build and expand a pirate haven.

August preview and end-of-month departures

As part of the first wave of August additions, Beast of Reincarnation launches on August 4 for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld, and PC. The game is set up as a one-person, one-dog adventure blending real-time and turn-based combat.

Also on August 4, Heretic + Hexen joins Game Pass Premium in addition to the Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass tiers, with availability across Cloud, console, handheld, and PC.

Finally, Microsoft is also preparing to remove titles from the catalog at month’s end. On July 31, eight games leave Xbox Game Pass, including Whiskerwood and Celeste.
