Agent class set for PC and console
The headline feature is the Agent class, described as a fast-moving combatant who fights with pistols. His hexround off-hand item is tied to short-distance teleportation, enabling rapid repositioning during engagements.
Timing is split by platform: PC players get the class on Thursday, July 30, while console players receive it a week later on Thursday, August 6. Ahead of the launch window, the Agent is available to try right now via the game’s Global Lab test server on PC.
Edania Part 2 expands the first grand saga
Heidel Ball also revealed Edania Part 2, positioned as an “epic” conclusion to Black Desert’s first grand saga. The update is planned to bring new bosses, additional monster zones, and more items and accessories for players to chase.
Edania Part 2 will release in two stages for both PC and console. Regions and items are scheduled for August 12, followed by the main quests on September 16.
Quality-of-life updates and new world activity
Beyond the two major headline additions, the event covered several gameplay and progression improvements. These include an in-game combat analyzer tool, faster swapping between characters in a family, and a “hyperboost” option intended to help players jump quickly to higher gear scores.
Other system changes announced include lifeskill gear sharing across the account, condensed PvP rankings, and new and updated world bosses. Players will also see new content in the Great Ocean, with a new monster and an island added to the region.
On the social progression side, Heidel Ball highlighted a guild fame system. The event also pointed to graphical updates that support FSR, and the show included official summaries plus a combat trailer focused on the Agent.
