Michele Collins Vergara, RH (AHG), MPH has been practicing as a clinical herbalist since 2004, using traditional Chinese medicine in combination with Chinese, western, and Ayurvedic herbs, Chinese nutritional therapy, and qi gong. Her deep love of plants combined with her desire to create a nurturing and sustainable healing alternative for people led her to complete the East West School of Herbology’s professional herbalist training program. She choose this school not only for its focus on teaching a wholistic healing system to apply and use herbs, but equally for its unique focus on integrating and applying the diagnostic and herbal traditions of traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Ayurvedic medicine, and western herbalism.
