Jerry is an integrative practitioner drawing from over 30 years of experience and continued training in various modalities. He has a Masters of Science degree in Rehabilitation Medicine/Counseling from Boston University. Licensed as a Psychotherapist and Massage therapist in Massachusetts, he has also trained in Planetary Herbalism at the East West School of Planetary Herbology (including Western, Ayurvedic and Chinese Herbal Studies), Clinical Aromatherapy, NeuroMuscular Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Reiki, Qi Gong, and Tui Na to name a few. Jerry combines ethnobotannical practices from Chinese, Indian, European and Native American traditions along with psychotherapy, food, dietary supplements, massage, Reiki, Qi Gong and various spiritual and energy work practices. As each person requires their individualized approach, initial assessment and interactive dialoguing is a crucial aspect of the treatment approach. In-person or Skype sessions support our approach to life in a more authentic manner recognizing the internal mechanisms that keep us from graceful living and fulfilling interpersonal relationships. By providing a vast tool-box of options, complimentary interventions can address the sensitive as well as the stymied or stagnant systems. Along with his private practice, Jerry is current Education Director and part of the formulation team for Host Defense Organic Mushrooms. In these roles, he informs professionals and the general public about the traditional use and the most recent research associated with mushrooms and herbs. He has also been instrumental in formulating a supplement line that combines mushrooms and herbs for the mass market to support people’s wellbeing.
