Our Editor
Anne de Courtenay is a writer, artist and herbalist living in Chicago. After completing her degree in journalism at Northwestern University, she received nearly a decade of training in clinical herbalism with a special focus in Chinese and Western traditions at the East West School of Planetary Herbology and at the Chicago College of Healing Arts. She has worked as an editor for the American Herbalists Guild, Peter Holmes and Jonathan Treasure. Most recently, she completed the editing and layout for the all new East West Herb Course (published in 2017). In herbal practice, she specializes in women’s health, headaches, and insomnia. An avid cook and traveler, Anne shares her life with her husband, the musician Marty McCormack, and their treasured daughter, Áine.
