My name is Kareem Charlton, and I am from the sunny shores of The Bahamas. I worked many years as a certified lifeguard instructor, helping hundreds of persons from all walks of life and various countries. I always had a love for helping people, plants and nature. As a young boy I witnessed my grandmother tend to an injury that I had and that always stayed with me. Now life has led me to pursue my love for people and nature, I am enrolled in East West School of Herbology to become what I was destined to be. My goal is to be a successful clinical herbalist to help make a change where I can with the time I have left on this beautiful earth.
I would like to also develop an organic fruit and vegetable farm, as well as my own medicinal herb garden. I still want to be able to enjoy my personal family time, fishing, swimming and local social community work. I started January of 2021 on this journey, but was studying and following some brilliant herbalists prior. I encourage anyone looking to become a herbalist that East West is the best place to start your journey.
