Crimson Desert Guide: Activate the Air Corridor in Podniebny Półksiężyc
A new Crimson Desert quest sequence sends players through the high-cloud dungeon area known as “Podniebny Półksiężyc w Otchłani,” as part of the story mission “W stronę gniazda.” After clearing its air-corridor activation puzzles and completing a final passage through a “sky gate,” the route is meant to lead into the “Gniazdo wron,” the boss lair where the targeted winged antagonist is hiding.
Background
“Podniebny Półksiężyc w Otchłani” is a location set high above the ground in the clouds, encountered during the main storyline while following the “Przywoływaczem Wron.” The area is accessed through quest progression tied to “W stronę gniazda,” and reaching the boss nest depends on solving the puzzle chain inside the zone.
What happened in the “W stronę gniazda” route
- Players must first complete all puzzles in “Iglica Lotum.” This is required before the game advances them into the next step of the mission.
- After accepting the main objective “W stronę gniazda,” a mandatory automatic flight begins on a large platform. The game then carries the platform until it reaches “Podniebny Półksiężyc.” Only after the arrival can the next part of the crossing begin.
- Once inside the new location, players encounter a “splot Otchłani” (an Obscurity entanglement). Activating it is recommended as a safety net if players fall from high ledges; if a fall happens, reloading the previous checkpoint is the fallback.
- Inside “Podniebny Półksiężyc,” the puzzle progression centers on reaching higher platforms and interacting with airborne mechanisms. The environment includes hazardous purple plants that can kill the character, so players are instructed to avoid standing in or near where they grow.
- The first puzzle objective is to reach two upper spheres that shoot rays (in any order). Players can use the “Aksjomatu” power to switch the camera to FPP and directly control the spheres.
- From the spheres’ control view, players must guide the ray onto a vertical button so that it changes color to blue. This is done for both of the two upper spheres.
- After successfully setting both upper spheres, players can glide onward into the next section of “Podniebny Półksiężyc,” which is described as being east of the starting point. The guidance emphasizes starting the flight close to the destination to ensure enough stamina.
- In the next segment, players must locate two connectors. The first is on a lower shelf and the second is on a higher one. The route is guided by following large cables. With both connectors found, players must use the interaction “Połącz” to restore power.
- Next, players reach a large oval mechanism and climb onto its center. From the correct position, they are instructed to use the “Dłoń mocy” to strike the mechanism with enough force to activate it properly.
- When the activation succeeds, players climb to a higher ledge and retrieve an artefakt Otchłani as a reward for solving one of the puzzles.
- The final puzzle requires passing through the sky gate shown in the first reference image. After completing the crossing, players must use “Aksjomat” on a small mechanism and make fine adjustments until the device lights up blue.
- If everything is completed correctly, the area should spawn new floating platforms, enabling the route toward the boss nest.
- During the approach to the lair, players must watch for operating fans that create air currents. The instruction is to use flight in these areas to reach the next platforms more easily, and to position themselves on a small circular plate.
- The linear path ultimately leads to Gniazdo wron, described as the final battle field. Just before entering the nest, another “splot Otchłani” appears.
Key mechanics and hazards to note
- Dłoń mocy: Skok helps with vertical movement: during a power-hand jump, players should press the power-hand use button (middle mouse button or R3) to perform vertical jumps and reduce the risk of running out of stamina during climbs.
- Purple toxic plants are lethal in the area; the guidance is to avoid them and not stand where they grow.
- Airborne spheres and ray control are part of the main puzzle: using Aksjomat switches the camera to FPP so players can aim the ray at the vertical blue-change button.
- Connector restoration is required: players must interact with both connectors via “Połącz” to restore power.
- Final mechanism timing depends on small corrections until the small device turns blue after using Aksjomat.
