Disney Dreamlight Valley “Pixel Perfect” Adds Ralph Quests

Gameloft has detailed its upcoming “Pixel Perfect” update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, bringing a Wreck-It Ralph themed storyline to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on July 29, 2026. The update also includes a new Star Path, summer events, and quality-of-life tools aimed at streamlining friendship and decorating.

Pixel Perfect brings Ralph questline, Star Path, and summer events

“Pixel Perfect” is built around an arcade machine that sparks chaos in the valley. Players will team up with Vanellope to help rescue Ralph, track down what’s driving the disruption, and work through an all-new friendship adventure inspired by the films.

Gameloft says the update will launch with a “Pop City” themed Star Path featuring both free and premium rewards. Those rewards include new outfits, furniture, a feline companion, and city-inspired customization items. The update will also run multiple limited-time in-game events during the summer, including the return of Summer Sizzle, the debut of the Parks Floating Festival, and the return of Memory Mania, each with exclusive rewards.

Gameplay and quality-of-life changes for decorating and friendship

The update adds several requested improvements to everyday gameplay:

New bulk removal tools to make redecorating easier
Ability to give Villagers multiple gifts at once
Option to re-roll favorite gifts of the day to speed up friendship progression
At maximum Friendship Level, new Best Friends benefits including Fast Travel to Villagers
Best Friend hangouts can grant Best Friend Glow, unlocking traits like longer sprint duration and MAX level profession bonuses for all professions while together

Players with the Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale Expansion will also get three new Floating Islands inspired by Bind, Mythopia, and Everafter for more creation and customization space.

Gameloft has clarified a prior detail: there will not be a new realm. The company instead describes the content as meeting Ralph through a brand-new questline, followed by welcoming him through villager quests that include exclusive Wreck-It Ralph themed rewards.

With the update scheduled for July 29, 2026, players can also expect more information to arrive closer to launch, including details on the next Star Path, additional quality-of-life improvements, and other surprises tied to “Pixel Perfect.”
