Moonlight Peaks Guide: How the 44 Core Quests Unlock and Progress

quests-moonlight-peaks-f0bc

Moonlight Peaks includes a main questline built around steady unlocks: the game’s 44 core quests are mostly linear, and new steps typically appear only after the prior quest is completed. In addition to this straightforward progression, most quests advance when you perform a specific in-world action—such as going to sleep in your coffin or visiting Moonlight Peaks town—while a smaller set requires you to travel to particular areas like Misty Shores or Moonlit Pines.

How the main questline progresses

Once you finish a quest, the next one usually triggers after you take a required action. The most common triggers include starting a new night by sleeping in your coffin or visiting town. Some quests instead require visiting named regions before they can proceed.

  1. Complete each quest to unlock the next step in the main chain.
  2. For most quests, advance by either sleeping in your coffin or visiting Moonlight Peaks town.
  3. Some quests require visiting specific parts of the map, including Misty Shores or Moonlit Pines.
  4. One quest is not tied to the main story progression and instead depends on a museum milestone.
