Nintendo eShop is running a limited-time sale featuring up to six great Switch titles (and Switch 2–compatible games) with discounts of 75% or more. For many of the picks, the current eShop price is described as the lowest it has ever been in digital form, meaning you may be looking at the cheapest point these games have reached on the store.

The window to grab these deals is tight: you have from August 17 to August 19, and in some cases the offers run until August 31. If you’re deciding what to play next—or what to try if you’re planning a Switch 2 purchase—the sale includes a mix of action, RPGs, and platformers, plus Monster Hunter and a couple of indie-style adventures.

Six discounted Switch and Switch 2 games now on eShop

Darksiders Genesis lands the first spot with an 80% discount, priced at €7.99 on eShop. The game refocuses the Darksiders formula into pure hack-and-slash combat, with you fighting through hordes of demons, angels, and other creatures. It also takes place before the events of the original game, featuring the Rider as you travel through the infernal back-and-forth of its story.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is a remaster of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and includes the additional content from the original. It’s discounted 75% to €9.99 on eShop, putting you in the fantasy world of Amalur and the home of the Fae, where a central premise revolves around the “destiny-less” character who awakens from death at the Soul of the Wells.

Celeste is one of the sale’s strongest platformer choices, with a 75% cut bringing it down to €4.99 on eShop. The game is a 2D platformer featuring more than 250 hand-crafted levels, where Madeline must climb toward the summit of Celeste Mountain while facing hundreds of designed challenges, twisted secrets, and the mystery surrounding the mountain.

Monster Hunter Rise is also included, marked at an 80% discount for €7.99 on eShop. The listing points to it as Capcom’s latest entry before Wilds: you explore large environments inspired by ancient Japan, hunt formidable monsters, and craft powerful weapons and armor from your loot. If you want to include Sunbreak as well, the price shown on eShop is €17.49.

Afterimage, from Aurogon Shanghai, is set in the fantasy world of Engardin and focuses on 2D action across 15 different scenarios. The sale price is €3.74 with an 85% discount. It’s described as featuring hand-drawn environments and a style that blends mechanics inspired by soulslike games, where you’re expected to master more than 10 abilities and defeat over 150 enemies.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom rounds out the set with a 75% discount and a €9.99 eShop price. The game is presented as the spiritual successor to Wonder Boy (and its Monster World), and follows Jin as he tries to save the Monster World kingdom. The deal description highlights side areas to discover, tougher enemies to fight, and equipment upgrades as you progress.

If you’re on the fence, the key detail is timing: you’ve got just over a week to make your decision while these eShop discounts are active. The sale’s featured games are all positioned as strong value, including multiple titles at their lowest-ever digital prices per the listing.
