Ilya „Perfecto” Zalutskiy has officially parted ways with Virtus.pro after being moved to the bench in early February, making the Russian player a free agent. The 26-year-old is now looking for a new CS team before the summer.

Perfecto is now a free agent after VP bench stint

Perfecto became a free agent after a six-month period on Virtus.pro’s reserve roster. He was transferred to the bench on 4 February, ending a run with VP that lasted just over a year overall. While his total time with the organization was a little over twelve months, his spell with Virtus.pro’s starting lineup was a bit longer than seven months.

Virtus.pro’s move effectively closes his latest chapter with the club, where his presence did not translate into a strong results run for the team. The organization posted a statement thanking him for his work during his time there, wishing him well in the next stage of his career.

Results with VP, plus past highlights in tier-one squads

During his time with Virtus.pro, Perfecto recorded a mix of mid-tier placements and deeper runs at points. His outings included finishing 7-8th at the CS Asia Championships, reaching the quarterfinals at BLAST Bounty Fall 2025, and landing on 13-16th place in many events.

Before VP, he had previously been part of major organizations including Cloud9, Natus Vincere, and Syman Gaming. His NAVI tenure produced his biggest achievements, including winning the PGL Major in Stockholm in 2021 and reaching the PGL Major final in Antwerp in 2022. Since that NAVI major win, he has not claimed additional tier-one tournament success.

Summer question: can he find a new roster?

Perfecto was also active in March, participating in the WINLINE Star Series Season 2 showmatch. Competing with Team Bratishkin, he helped secure a 3-1 win over SNAILKICK. The open question now is whether he can secure a contract and return to regular competition later this summer.
