Peterborough United will host Reading in the FA Cup first round, setting up a family showdown between Posh manager Robbie Savage and his son Charlie, who plays for the Royals.

The draw has brought League One and League Two’s 48 clubs into the competition alongside 32 surviving non-league teams. Peterborough’s London Road tie will carry particular weight for the Savage family, with a place in round two at stake.

Leicester handed Oxford City trip

Leicester City, one of the biggest names entering at this stage, have been drawn away at National League North side Oxford City. The Foxes arrive after successive relegations and have won only three of their first nine League One matches.

Wigan Athletic are also on the road, with Boreham Wood waiting for the former FA Cup winners.

Tadley Calleva are the lowest-ranked club still alive in the competition. The non-league side must first get past Aldershot in Tuesday’s replay before a potential away tie against League One club Barnsley.

AFC Rushden & Diamonds have been paired with Burton Albion, while seventh-tier newcomers Plymouth Parkway and Berkhamsted will meet each other rather than a Football League opponent. Their tie guarantees one of them a place in the next round.
