Pokopia has launched a new limited-time event that puts your stealth game front and center: Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest. The challenge tasks players with disguising themselves, avoiding nearby hunters, and racing to a specific Pokémon Center PC to earn a top-tier trophy plus additional loot. Here’s what you need to know to start, play, and maximize your rewards during the event window.

How to start Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest in Pokopia

To begin the event, you’ll need to find and talk to Zorua while the contest is active. During the run, Zorua can be found standing in front of all Pokémon Centers, so you can choose any location that’s convenient.

Once you locate Zorua, interact with them and select the option stating: “Is a Hide-and-Sneak Contest going on right now?” The event won’t start unless you’ve already completed Zorua’s earlier request on Bleak Beach—that’s where Zorua first teaches you the mini-game. If you haven’t reached that point in the main storyline yet, you’ll need to progress until you can unlock the contest setup.

The stealth rules: what you must do during the match

The Hide-and-Sneak challenge begins as soon as you talk to Zorua. After that, the game teleports you to a spot somewhat nearby and the objective is simple: sneak to the PC at the nearby Pokémon Center as quickly as possible without getting caught.

Chat with Zorua to start. You must speak to Zorua outside a Pokémon Center. After you begin, you’ll be randomly teleported to a nearby location and the round starts.
Use camouflage before moving. You’re expected to disguise yourself using the camouflage ability immediately—without it, you’ll likely be caught right away.
Identify the actual hunters. Only Zorua and Pokémon with a speech bubble above their heads are participating. Figure out which ones are hunting you so you can plan your route.
Race to the PC, pausing when you’re spotted. Move toward the Pokémon Center PC while avoiding line-of-sight. If a hunter looks in your direction, pause and wait for the moment to pass. Faster completion is important because the main reward is tied to finishing under a minute.

Finishing the event successfully provides a special trophy item called the Hide-and-Sneak Trophy. This is awarded when you complete the challenge in under a minute, making speed the key requirement for the most exclusive prize.
