Racing Santander have unveiled their 2026-27 third kit, with the names of all 18,804 season-ticket holders printed inside the shirt as the newly promoted club marks its return to La Liga.

A supporter-led design for Racing’s top-flight return

The Austral-made strip is built around a restrained black colourway, with a tonal pattern drawn from the Cantabrian labarum. Racing green detailing appears on the collar, sleeve cuffs and lower edge of the jersey, keeping the Verdiblancos’ identity visible within a modern design.

The full third-kit set includes green shorts and black Quick Dry socks. The shirt is on sale through the club’s online store for €74.95, while stock is also due to arrive at El Sardinero.

Fourteen years behind the gesture

Racing’s decision to include every season-ticket holder reflects the backing that carried the club through 14 years away from Spain’s top division. Support remained central during a period that included financial difficulty and time spent outside the elite levels of the game.

That connection will again be important in 2026-27. Racing have returned to La Liga but now face the harder task: collecting enough points to make the promotion lasting.

  1. Racing endured 14 seasons outside La Liga, including financial turmoil and lower-league football.
  2. The club secured promotion back to the Spanish top flight.
  3. Austral launched the 2026-27 third shirt with 18,804 member names incorporated into its interior.
  4. After the international break, Racing host Valencia in matchday eight on Sunday, October 11.

Valencia test awaits at El Sardinero

Racing resume league action against Valencia on October 11, with the home side targeting vital points in front of their own supporters.

Valencia will arrive with Javier Aguirre newly installed as manager. He has been brought in to arrest the visitors’ extended downturn, adding extra urgency to a fixture in which Racing will need composure as well as home momentum.
