Steven Gerrard joins Gary Neville’s The Overlap Daily as Monday host
Steven Gerrard has joined Gary Neville’s new football media project, with the Liverpool great set to front the Monday edition of The Overlap Daily alongside presenter Becky Ives.
Gerrard takes on new daily role
The former Liverpool captain will appear on the weekday YouTube programme, adding another television commitment to his current work as a regular pundit for TNT Sports.
The Overlap Daily is scheduled to air at 4pm every weekday and will deliver daily news, discussion, predictions and analysis, with high-profile guests expected across the programme.
Gerrard’s appointment creates another collaboration across the Liverpool-Manchester United divide. He and Neville spent their playing careers as rivals, while Jamie Carragher has already established a successful on-screen partnership with the former United defender.
Supporters to join the debate
The show plans to make fan interaction a central part of its format rather than limiting the discussion to the studio panel.
- A dedicated phone-in segment will allow supporters to take part live.
- Viewers will be able to send questions directly to the pundits.
- Regular guests will join the panel for exclusive insight and debate.
- The programme will combine breaking football stories with opinion and predictions.
