Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls launches with a solid roster for fighting-game fans, but two standout points matter right away: the game includes a total of 20 playable heroes and villains, and it also hides a special character tied to the story’s final boss. There’s also a character you may see in fights during the campaign, but you won’t be able to select her as a controller-ready fighter.

The Champion won’t be available when you first start playing. To gain access to this secret character across the game’s different modes, you only need to complete one requirement: finish any Episode storyline completely.

Can you unlock the Promoter?

During the Episodes of the story mode, you’ll encounter the Promoter in fights that are part of the campaign’s progression. However, there’s no legitimate method to unlock her as a playable character.

Even though she has her own model for those encounters, the Promoter only serves narrative and combat setup purposes and is not selectable as a controlled fighter.
