Devitt founded the professional herbal medicine practice Sun & Moon Dispensary, providing private consultations, classes and workshops, for individuals and organizations. She focuses on stress management, helping individuals to digest better, sleep better, and feel better. Her experience spans two decades across industries that include gardening, herbal tincture manufacturing, recipe formulating, and educating, along with clinical consultation. She has given lectures and workshops at Tiny Needles Community Acupuncture, the Ashland Food Co-op, Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, The Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park, The American Herbalists Guild, and The UCSF Integrative Medicine Forum. She has appeared as a guest speaker on KOB-TV The View from the Bay, KPFA The Herbal Highway, and Healthier Way Radio. She has completed a three-year clinical herbal certification with the East West School of Planetary Herbology, a one-year apprenticeship with Master Herbalist Christopher Hobbs, and Advanced Chinese Herbal Medicine Training at the International Education College of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, People’s Republic of China. She has additional training in the study of Ayurveda; using essential oils in Aromatherapy; and Flower Essence remedies. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance, with a minor in English literature.
