Cole Palmer poised for England return in Tuchel’s Nations League squad

Palmer’s output strengthens Tuchel’s attacking options
Palmer missed the World Cup after a decline in form last season, but has responded with two goals and two assists across his opening four Premier League games for Chelsea. Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha, 18, and Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, 23, are both being considered as Tuchel looks to refresh his group. They were among four younger players brought into the senior setup for the pre-World Cup training camp.
Ngumoha made his England debut at 17, appearing from the bench in a 1-0 friendly victory over New Zealand in Florida. Tuchel has indicated he wants emerging players around the squad, saying he is keen to bring youngsters into camp so they can develop.
