Corsair Cove Joins Xbox Game Pass as July 2026’s Final Day-One Release
Xbox Game Pass has added Corsair Cove, a pirate-themed cozy city builder, bringing the service’s July 2026 slate to its final new day-one release of the month. The game goes live on July 31 at 10 a.m. EDT, and it marks the 15th and last title to debut on Xbox Game Pass during July 2026.
Quick facts
- Corsair Cove is now available on Xbox Game Pass as of July 31 at 10 a.m. EDT.
- It is the 15th (and final) July 2026 day-one addition and the 121st Xbox Game Pass release since the start of the year.
- Developer: Limbic Entertainment; Publisher: Hooded Horse.
- Game Pass availability: XGP Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
- Platform note: PC version only; Xbox Cloud Gaming is not supported.
Corsair Cove tasks players with building a settlement from the ground up. You start on an underdeveloped island with a small crew and the remains of a ship, then gradually expand into a thriving city while managing rising complexity in what your population needs.
Growth also brings logistics. Players have to move workers and supplies across different elevations using dedicated infrastructure like paths, bridges, and ziplines, all while keeping the settlement running smoothly.
On top of city management, the game includes maritime operations. That means overseeing ships and crews, along with exploration assignments that support your expansion beyond the initial island.
Day-one on Game Pass, PC-only availability
Although Corsair Cove is a day-one Game Pass title, it is currently limited to XGP Ultimate and PC Game Pass. It launches as a PC exclusive, which also explains why Xbox Cloud Gaming support is not included.
The cloud service runs on custom Xbox Series X hardware and relies on modern console ports, and since Corsair Cove does not have an Xbox console port, it cannot be streamed via Xbox Cloud Gaming at launch.
What else is happening around Game Pass
With Corsair Cove landing on July 31, Xbox Game Pass’s July 2026 total reaches 15 new day-one titles—matching June’s count. The month also ends with July ahead of June on day-one releases, adding 10 titles during the month, which is two more than the preceding month.
Looking ahead, Xbox Game Pass already has four confirmed day-one releases for August 2026: Beast of Reincarnation, Sandustry, Grave Seasons, and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Separately, Heretic + Hexen is set to expand into the Premium tier catalog on August 4.
For August, that same August 4 date is also being flagged as the likeliest time for the next Wave 1 lineup to be formally announced. In the meantime, eight games are scheduled to leave Xbox Game Pass on July 31, including Celeste, Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, and Crusader Kings 3.
