FaZe break into the top 10—and then climb again to #7

After FaZe Clan reached the top ten in the previous week’s HLTV ranking, this third Monday of August brought an additional improvement. The American organization advanced by two positions and is now placed seventh overall. In the points gap, FaZe trails the team in sixth place—Natus Vincere—by 131 points, while maintaining a small cushion of five points over the team ranked eighth, Aurora.

The reshuffle also impacted teams around them. South American side 9z slipped to ninth, losing six points to Aurora, and falling 39 points behind the team currently in tenth place, G2 Esports.

For Polish teams, the third August update delivered mixed results. Apogee, which had been inside the top 40 the week prior, did not sustain that position and dropped three places to #42. Phantom Esports is one of only two Polish squads among the five listed here that increased its standing—rising one spot to #55.

Meanwhile, Walczaki fell sharply by 13 places to #83. Permitta made the most notable upward progress among the Polish entries, jumping 19 spots to enter the top 115 at #115. Phantom Academy, listed as part of the Polish picture, slipped one place to #157.
