Ferran Torres Hat-Trick Powers PSG to 6-1 Champions League Win
Paris Saint-Germain launched their Champions League defence with a 6-1 demolition of Slovan Bratislava, as new signing Torres struck a hat-trick on his European debut for the club.
The Spanish World Cup winner, signed from Barcelona in the summer window, finished twice early in the second half before completing his treble from an Ousmane Dembele corner. Fabian Ruiz added PSG’s sixth late on after Suleiman Camara had briefly replied for the visitors.

Dembele had already put PSG in command before Torres took over. The Ballon d’Or winner opened the scoring in the 17th minute, following up after Nuno Mendes hit the post with a fierce strike.
Six minutes later, Dembele headed in after Dro Fernandez’s cross took a deflection. He then created Torres’ first, sending a delivery across the six-yard area for a close-range finish at the near post.
PSG resumed with the same intensity. Torres made it 4-0 two minutes after the interval, converting after Maghnes Akliouche drove forward and laid the ball into his path.
The forward’s third arrived from a crowded box, where he turned Dembele’s corner over the line. Slovan’s attempts to build from deep repeatedly left them exposed against PSG’s aggressive press.
Camara gave Yaya Toure’s side a moment of resistance with a top-corner strike, but Ruiz restored the five-goal margin with a low effort into the far corner.
The European result gives PSG a timely lift after an unusually poor domestic opening. They remain without a Ligue 1 victory, and climbing out of 13th place is the immediate task before their next league fixture.
