Prideful Shop has released Go-Go Town, a chaotic-but-cosy town-building sim that tasks players with running a small stopover into a thriving tourist hub—while keeping deliveries, visitors, vehicles, and your own planning decisions from spiraling out of control. To mark the launch, the developer released a new trailer alongside the game’s availability on Nintendo platforms.

Build a town—and manage the chaos

In Go-Go Town, players take the role of mayor, transforming a sleepy town into a busy tourist destination. The core loop centers on building and managing everything from shops, factories, and attractions to roads and delivery flow. Players will also hire townsfolk, automate production, and handle resources and logistics as the town grows.

The game also emphasizes customization and day-to-day tinkering: you can alter the look of your town with new styles, personalize your home, and make streets feel tailored to your own vision. On top of that, town life includes an expanding set of vehicles—along with plenty of reasons for them to become part of the problem.

What’s included at launch

The developers say the launch version includes the mayoral toolkit players will use to develop and run their towns:

  • Build and decorate areas using shops, factories, attractions, roads, and more.
  • Manage resources and logistics, hire townsfolk, and drive an increasingly varied roster of vehicles.
  • Customize both the town and your own space, swapping in styles and personalizing appearance across streets.

Free demo on Steam; more coming to Nintendo

For players who want to try before committing, a free demo is available now on Steam. The Nintendo Switch version is listed as coming soon.

Post-launch roadmap: co-op mayhem and vehicle upgrades

Prideful Shop has also outlined a post-launch plan focused on adding new ways to build, customize, and play together—while making it easier to inconvenience friends.

  • Later this year: Cooperative Chaos will add group interactions, musical instruments, and features designed around player suggestions.
  • Early 2027: Vehicle Customisation introduces a new shop for modifying vehicles. Planned additions include vehicle mods, new vehicles, skins, custom colors and decals, and the ability to attach trailers to increase carrying capacity.

Trailer and digital release

Go-Go Town is available as a digital download, with the launch trailer released to coincide with the game’s Switch availability.
