Jordan Pickford Hits 100 Premier League Clean Sheets in Everton Draw
Jordan Pickford has reached 100 Premier League clean sheets after Everton’s 0-0 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, putting the England goalkeeper into an elite group of just 19 players.
The shut-out helped David Moyes’ Everton climb to ninth in the table, while Pickford’s landmark places him among the division’s modern goalkeeping standouts.
Pickford joins the 100-clean-sheet club
The Sunderland-born goalkeeper has built his top-flight record since arriving at Goodison Park from his first club. His latest clean sheet came in a hard-fought stalemate against Spurs and is officially counted because he completed the full 90 minutes.
- Jordan Pickford: 100 Premier League clean sheets
- Ederson: 122 clean sheets
- Alisson Becker: reached 100 in January 2026 against Leeds United
- Nick Pope: 80 clean sheets
Pickford is also arriving at the milestone after another individual honour. He won the August 2026 Premier League Save of the Month prize for the fifth time, extending his own record after his reflex save against Eddie Nketiah.
Cech remains well clear at the top
Petr Cech still leads the Premier League’s all-time clean-sheet standings with 202 from his Chelsea and Arsenal years. He is 33 clear of second-placed David James and also owns the best clean-sheet percentage and the longest sequence of consecutive shut-outs in the competition.
Pickford’s next target will be to build on his century as Everton return to action, with Moyes’ side now looking to protect their place in the top half.
Pope’s route to 100 is complicated
Newcastle United goalkeeper Nick Pope is the closest English contender to join Pickford in the 100 club, but his route has become more difficult. Pope has 80 Premier League clean sheets but has recently lost the starting role at St James’ Park to Lukas Hornicek.
For every goalkeeper chasing the mark, selection is only part of the challenge: a player must be on the pitch for the entire match to receive an official clean sheet.
