Matviyenko Vows Shakhtar Will Chase PSV Win in Champions League Opener
Shakhtar Donetsk captain Mykola Matviyenko says his side will go after victory rather than sit deep when they open their Champions League league-phase campaign away to PSV on Thursday.

Matviyenko said Turan regularly speaks positively to the group, shares stories from his own career and gives individual attention to the younger members of the squad. The captain believes that approach has helped keep morale high before the European opener.
Turan, meanwhile, offered a warm tribute to PSV winger Ivan Perisic, describing his former friend as a priceless living legend and a role model for young footballers.
