Nordic Partners Gaming acquires and rebrands Achieveminds Gaming CS2 team
A CS2 team from Andorra has been bought and rebranded as part of a broader push to bring iGaming revenue directly into esports operations. Achieveminds Gaming—previously operating as an AM Gaming CS2 outfit—has been acquired by and relaunched under Nordic Partners Gaming (NPG), with the full roster transfer scheduled for July 28.
Announcement: Achieveminds Gaming becomes Nordic Partners Gaming
The organisation founded by Fabian Broich has transitioned into Nordic Partners Gaming, with Broich confirming the change and the roster move date. Achieveminds Gaming started in 2021, and Broich will continue to lead the team in its new structure.
Broich’s board appointment is joined by Håvard Lehn, Group CEO of Nordic Network Ltd. Lehn also represents the parent company behind the Nordic.Partners iGaming affiliate network, bringing 15 years of experience in online casino and gambling product operations.
What changed
- Achieveminds Gaming was acquired and relaunched as Nordic Partners Gaming (NPG).
- The AM Gaming CS2 roster is transferring as part of the deal, with the full move set for July 28.
- Fabian Broich remains in leadership under the new organisation name.
- Håvard Lehn joins NPG’s board, representing Nordic.Partners’ iGaming affiliate network via Nordic Network Ltd.
Practical impact: iGaming revenue shifts from sponsorship to ownership
Instead of the typical approach used by betting and casino brands—such as jersey sponsorship—this model makes the iGaming company the owner. The stated goal is to use affiliate-driven iGaming revenue as a steadier commercial base than tournament prize money or lower-touch sponsorship arrangements.
Broich framed the intent as a need for more dependable revenue, stronger commercial structures, and partners who understand the esports industry. Lehn similarly emphasized that iGaming businesses want credible access to engaged gaming audiences, while esports teams and creators need partnerships that allow longer-term investment and planning.
Platform scope: CS2 team, with precedent from Dota 2 and other esports
The immediate change concerns an Andorran CS2 organisation rebranded under NPG. The acquisition also fits an emerging pattern of gambling-adjacent ownership models in esports.
There is already precedent in the region: a Russian bookmaker, PARI, owns 100% of PARIVISION, a Serbia-based organisation fielding rosters in both Dota 2 and CS2, with its operations funded by iGaming money. Another example cited is BC.Game, which launched BC.Game Esports around 2024 and has since signed multiple notable players.
What comes next: roster trajectory and commercial scrutiny
In the months leading up to the deal, the team’s competitive results improved, moving from outside the world’s top 200 into the top-60 range. Broich noted that recent roster additions have temporarily pushed their ranking down, which he attributed to the usual adjustment period required for new lineups to gel.
Beyond competition, NPG’s longer-term challenge will be navigating regulatory and public scrutiny around gambling-adjacent marketing. The organisation also indicated it is building commercial activity outside the server: Achieveminds previously partnered with Germany-based Allianz Agency Döpke to develop insurance products tailored specifically for esports.
