Pierre Sage blasts Crystal Palace display after 3-2 Lyon defeat
Crystal Palace boss Pierre Sage said his side fell “really far off” his expectations after a 3-2 Europa League defeat at Lyon, the club he previously managed.
Palace were beaten by the French side in a five-goal European contest, with Sage left unhappy at the level delivered by his players against his former club.
The manager will now look for a response from Palace in their next fixture after a disappointing night in Lyon.
