Fortnite Web Shooter Power Hour Returns This Weekend With Mythic Web Shooters
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 continues to rotate special “Power Hours,” and this weekend’s Web Shooter event is bringing back Spider-Man’s Mythic Web Shooters while also boosting how often Cube Sprites show up across the island. Epic has set the schedule for when the Web Shooter Power Hour starts, and players will get a limited window to farm the Mythic item before it stays unvaulted for the remainder of the season.
Web Shooter Power Hour: Start Times for August 1–2
The Fortnite Web Shooter Power Hours run twice on Saturday, August 1 (2 PM–4 PM ET and 9 PM–11 PM ET). There are also region-based start times spanning August 1 into early August 2, depending on your local timezone.

What Changes During the Event
During the Web Shooter Power Hour, Fortnite’s event rules are adjusted to make Spider-Man-style play easier and to increase Sprite collection opportunities.
- First chance to get the Web Shooters Mythic Item; the item will be unvaulted for the rest of the season after the event ends.
- Unlimited Web Shooters during the Power Hour.
- Increased Spider-Man chests for better loot access.
- Cube Sprites appear more often across the island.
- More changes to be revealed closer to the Power Hour.
Additional Sprite News: Vini Jr. Mythic Sprite Coming In
Alongside this weekend’s Power Hour rotation, Fortnite has also added Vini Jr. again, this time as a super rare Mythic Sprite. The update notes that players can obtain the Vini Jr. Sprite by following the event’s stated method.
