Pellegrini also highlighted the control shown after Ezzalzouli’s goal. He described Getafe as a physical, stubborn opponent who defend with real conviction, but felt Betis had produced three or four good chances while allowing very little at the other end.

Betis are third, behind Real Madrid on goal difference and three points behind perfect-start Barcelona. Their league form includes a 2-1 win at Villarreal, while the only defeat so far came in a 5-2 loss at Levante on matchday three.
