Energy Medicine Movement and Tao
Arnold E. Tayam, Director of The Longevity Center with over 30 years of experience, is a Professor and Doctor of Medical Qigong offering private clinic sessions using Medical Qigong based in Chinese Energetic Medicine.
Additionally, he teaches classes, seminars and programs in Qigong, Tai Chi and Bagua.
These methods are based on the Ancient Chinese energetic theory that holds that humans are complex energy bodies comprised of an intricate network of energy pathways or channels. There are twelve main organ pathways and eight extraordinary vessels and 360 points that are attributed to individual health functions and benefits.
Your Life Force energy, or Qi, is a direct reflection of your health and well-being. By using the simple methods that incorporate a combination of positioning and moving the body with breathing techniques and creative visualization, one can easily and effectively learn to self-manage their Life Force energy which affects their physical, mental and emotional capacities.
These methods are easily learned and applied for both general and specific purposes and can be done from simple standing or sitting, and even lying down positions.
Routines usually involve half a dozen to a dozen different practices which take about 10-20 minutes to do. But, at the same time, each of these individual practices have specific application that can be done singularly for even just 2-5 minutes.
These simple methods do not require any special equipment, are easily learned, and can be practiced of all ages and levels of physical ability.
Over the years, teaching at Universities hospitals clinics and companies, many benefits have been derived from effective practice that have been reported which include:
- Stress management
- Increased energy, stronger body, and improved flexibility
- Improved digestion
- Heightened mental clarity and concentration
- Boosted immune function
- Regulation of blood pressure
- Improved sleep
- A greater sense of health, well-being, and empowerment
People from all walks of life have discovered this simple “secret” and have been able to improve both personal and professional aspects of their lives.
There is a steadily growing number of studies being conducted on the efficacy of these ancient, yet effective, techniques; the future holds great promise for utilizing these methods for all in modern day living.
I offer classes and seminars that target your individual needs.
