adidas Unveils David Beckham Predator to Mark Iconic Greece Free-Kick
adidas has launched the David Beckham Predator, a special-edition boot created with the former England captain to mark 25 years since his decisive free-kick against Greece.
The release commemorates Beckham’s 93rd-minute strike at Old Trafford on October 6, 2001, the goal that sealed England’s qualification for the 2002 World Cup. The new model takes its visual cues from the boots he wore during that qualifier, led by a white base and red detailing.

The boot is the third generation of Beckham’s signature Predator line and includes the adidas Trefoil, only the second time the logo has appeared on a Predator model. Beckham’s previous special-edition boot, released in 2024, sold out rapidly.
Adidas has combined heritage detailing with the technology used in its Predator Elite FT L-Tech range. A premium leather forefoot is intended to provide a softer, more traditional touch while retaining the lightweight support of a modern performance boot.
A red leather fold-over tongue carries an embroidered Trefoil, while both sets of Three Stripes feature a repeated Trefoil pattern. Beckham branding appears on the outer heel as the final personal detail.
The boot goes on sale immediately, with adidas making it available through its online store and selected stockists.
