Caldentey’s Late Penalty Earns Arsenal 1-0 Win Over Koge
Mariona Caldentey struck a stoppage-time penalty to give Arsenal a hard-earned 1-0 European win over Koge after Selina Cerci was brought down in the box.

Catley hails Arsenal’s resolve
Defender Steph Catley said the final stages had been chaotic, but praised Arsenal for persisting against a side that defended strongly throughout.
She said Arsenal had expected a difficult Champions League night and stressed that there are no straightforward fixtures in the competition. Catley also singled out Caldentey’s calmness from 12 yards and Cerci’s impact after her dribble created the penalty.

Renee Slegers’ side now turn quickly towards a Women’s Super League meeting with London rivals Chelsea this weekend.
