Diablo 4 Season of Death Awakening Hotfix Boosts Mythics

Blizzard has rolled out a fresh Diablo 4 hotfix for Season of Death Awakening that boosts Mythic usefulness and improves loot odds, addressing player complaints about crafted Mythic limits and Mythic Unique drop rates. The update is live now, with more rewards promised next week.

What changed in today’s Diablo 4 hotfix

In a forum post, Live Service Design Director Dan Tanguay said Blizzard is responding directly to feedback about Mythic Unique drop rates and equipment limits during the current season. The hotfix includes higher Mythic drop chances and removes restrictions that previously made crafted Mythics feel inefficient.

Why this matters for players grinding Mythics

Blizzard’s earlier patch made crafting Mythic Uniques easier by increasing material availability, but the value still fell short for many players due to the equip cap that limited how many crafted Mythics could be used. Today’s update removes that restriction and raises Mythic drops from Corrupted Reaper, making both crafted Mythic routes (Pandemonium Fragments and Resplendent Sparks) more meaningful again.
