Harry Kane Targets England Milestones Ahead of Spain Nations League Clash
Harry Kane has returned to England duty under Thomas Tuchel and will lead the Three Lions into Saturday’s UEFA Nations League opener against world champions Spain, with a Ballon d’Or showdown against fellow contenders Rodri and Lamine Yamal looming.

Heskey: Kane belongs in the conversation
Former England forward Emile Heskey said Kane has adapted as his career has progressed rather than slowing down, comparing his sustained scoring to Alan Shearer’s while arguing that the Bayern star is operating at an even higher level.
“He’s been fantastic,” Heskey said. “One hundred Bundesliga goals in 98 games is outstanding. You have to give him credit.”
Heskey said Kane’s case is not limited to domestic football, pointing to his record for England and major-tournament contribution. He added that Messi and Ronaldo remained Ballon d’Or contenders through their individual numbers even in seasons without Champions League success.
“Their figures put them at the top every year,” Heskey said. “You have to put him with them. It is about the best player in the world at that time.”
