Team Spirit vs Team Liquid: MOUZ Reach BLAST Bounty S2 Semis

The first day of competition in the BLAST Bounty Season 2 LAN finals has wrapped up, with two favorites already booking their place in the next phase. Team Spirit and MOUZ handled their quarterfinal assignments cleanly, while the overall slate still leaves plenty to decide as the second day gets underway on Friday, when the Polish lineup steps into the server.

Spirit demolish Liquid in straight sets

Team Spirit delivered a controlled 2-0 result over Team Liquid, extending their strong run against the NA side. It marked the third time in the current BLAST Bounty season that Spirit defeated Liquid, taking all available wins between the teams so far.

The match never turned into a real contest. On Dust2, Spirit secured a 7-13 lead, then closed the series on Anubis with a 5-13 scoreline. Donk was the central figure for the CIS roster, finishing with 42 eliminations while being killed 20 times. His performance averaged 107.4 damage per round, and he posted a 1.76 rating.

3DMAX push MOUZ, but the favorites advance

MOUZ needed a stronger response after 3DMAX claimed the opening map. 3DMAX entered the quarterfinal as the underdog but struck first by winning Dust2 13-10.

On the following map, Nuke, the “mice” were close to going out—MOUZ trailed 9-11 and 11-12 before stabilizing to win 18-22 in overtime play. MOUZ then took control on Inferno, running away with a 3-13 finish to secure the series 1-2.

Adam “torzsi” Torzsas delivered the standout overall line for MOUZ with 67 frags and 44 deaths. He averaged 80.9 damage per round and posted a 1.38 rating across the matchup.

LAN finals in Malta run 30 July to 2 August

The BLAST Bounty Season 2 LAN finals are taking place in Malta from 30 July to 2 August, with eight teams competing for the trophy. The total prize pool for the event’s culmination is 740,000 USD.

Polish representation at the LAN includes Jakub “jcobbb” Pietruszewski from FaZe Clan and coach Filip “NEO” Kubski from Astralis. Competition continues on Friday, when more Polish players are set to enter the match lineup.
