Telemundo, Universo Return to Fubo for Czechia’s 2026 World Cup Games
Telemundo and Universo have returned to Fubo in the United States following a late distribution agreement with NBCUniversal, restoring Spanish-language access ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The move gives viewers another route to follow Czech Republic’s Group A campaign, while Peacock will stream all 104 tournament matches live in Spanish. Czechia open against South Korea on June 11, then face South Africa on June 18 before meeting Mexico at Estadio Azteca on June 24.
Czech Republic’s World Cup group schedule
- June 11, 2026: Czech Republic vs South Korea in Guadalajara. FS1 is listed for English-language coverage.
- June 18, 2026: Czech Republic vs South Africa in Atlanta. FOX is listed for the English broadcast.
- June 24, 2026: Czech Republic vs Mexico at Estadio Azteca. FOX will show the match in English.
US broadcast picture
FOX and FS1 will carry English-language World Cup coverage in the United States. Telemundo holds the Spanish-language rights, with Universo set to show selected fixtures, simultaneous group-stage matches and additional programming.
Telemundo is available through Fubo’s standard English-language package as well as its Latino plan. Universo is included with the Latino plan and can also be accessed through the Latino Plus or Extra add-ons.
Peacock will provide Spanish-language live streams for every match in the expanded 104-game competition.
Coverage in Czech Republic
Česká televize and Skupina Nova will share domestic rights for the 2026 World Cup. ČT will show more than 50 matches, with coverage on ČT sport and the ČT sport Plus digital platform, including analysis and reporting from tournament venues.
Nova has sublicensed rights to another 50 exclusive games, primarily across Nova Action and TV Nova. Its Oneplay platform will carry the entire tournament.
The opening match, the final and any Czech Republic fixtures are set to be simulcast by the two broadcasters.
