Reebok Returns to Football with Sidewinder 26 Elite Boot

Reebok has launched the Sidewinder 26 Elite FG, a new firm-ground boot that marks the brand’s return to top-level football equipment. The model is on sale now through Reebok’s online store and selected retailers.

The launch is backed by a three-player football roster led by Beşiktaş and Serbia forward Dušan Vlahović. Como defender Trevoh Chalobah and goalkeeper Kayla Rendell have also joined Reebok as the company rebuilds its presence in the game.

Designed for elite-level players, the Sidewinder 26 Elite FG uses a Vestamid plate intended to provide strength and support while keeping the boot light. Its outsole combines Reebok’s Deadly Strike system, with Shooting Brake technology for traction on the standing foot and a Power Unit aimed at returning energy through the striking foot.

Reebok says the Sidewinder stud arrangement is built for sharp changes of direction, acceleration and control in tight spaces. The upper is made from premium microfibre and finished with SupraSkin grip treatment, while a low-cut shape, traditional laces and adaptive knit tongue and collar are intended to secure the foot without restricting movement.

Vlahović fronts new Reebok roster

Vlahović said the boot suits the demands of his game, particularly in front of goal.

“The Sidewinder 26 Elite FG gives me the confidence to strike with precision, power and total intent in every moment,” the Serbia international said. “It is made for control under pressure and explosive response, which is what I need to perform at my best.”

Chalobah’s arrival adds a defender to the campaign, while Rendell becomes the goalkeeper representative in Reebok’s new group.
