Welcome to the East West School of Herbology, serving budding and serious herbalists since 1980. Started by Michael and Lesley Tierra and operated by them until 2023, the school is now owned and run by Thomas Avery Garran, celebrated by Michael Tierra as one of his most accomplished students. While there have been and will continue to be some changes with the new ownership, the school is essentially the same, focusing on training from beginning  (the Home Herbalist Course) to advanced (the Professional Herbalist Course). We also offer a clinical herbalist track as well as ongoing free and paid lectures through our platform. If you are interested in in-person apprenticeship, see more information here.
